My heavy duty garage shelves

I came to the conclusion that I needed some shelves in my garage. However, I wasn't happy with the quality or cost of what was being offered at the local home improvement stores so I decided to design them myself.

I had a few design requirements:

• Nuclear blast strong. At the moment the storage requirements are fairly benign but I wanted the ability to store heavy bits on them.
• Reasonably low cost.
• Simple assembly.
• Transportable. I wanted to be able to disassemble the shelves into a relatively compact form for moving.
